Hi, I’m an incoming PhD student at the University of Southern California (USC), advised by Dr. Mahdi Soltanolkotabi.

My research interests center on combining mathematical foundations and empirical validation to better understand and improve deep learning, with a focus on designing efficient and reliable learning methods with theoretical guarantees.

As an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University, I majored in Computer Science and Mathematics. During this time, I conducted research on deep representation, model compression and optimal transport under Dr. Soheil Kolouri. I also had the pleasure of working with Dr. Catie Chang and Dr. Gautam Biswas.

In the past, I have interned at Google, working on efficient media processing for AI features on Meet, and at Johnson & Johnson, working on computer vision.

I enjoy playing badminton, producing music and learning bits of different languages!
